    here we go again with the great debate: www.posthouse.com www.super8sound.com www.pro8.com www.yalefilmandvideo.com www.cinelab.com www.movielab.com
i have used all but the last two. i think i'll try Cine Lab next. Martin Baumgarten has stopped taking new orders. There is also Prep Film Services and Film Craft Lab in Michigan. Plenty more labs on the east & west coast. i found almost all labs to be professional quality. Some folks won't agree with these postings, oh well....I like Cine Post (Posthouse.com) for my transfers. Although you may not need a Rank transfer. If you do, they are great. I wasn't sure about super8sound's URL. I think it's Pro8.com now.

I know y'all have probably discussed this many times - but could you name a few of the best super 8 processing and transfer facilities that you have used. (best quality for the money).
    Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. Do you or anybody know which one has the best quality/service for the price? I need cheap and good if it exists.

Mattiec, I would do a little research in your home town (which seems to be Denver). Edmonton is not a big city, and there are three places here which do high-quality film transfers. My only proviso would be to make sure that the company actually does the transfers and doesn't farm them out to someone else, so that you can see what equipment is used.

I'll kick in to note that I've used Cine Lab a lot. They're fine & prices are quite competitive. They process tons of Tri-X for the local universities in the Boston area.
